Join a curated cohort of peers and engage in a unique facilitated learning experience offered exclusively to 21/64 Certified Advisors Trainers and clients. Based on nearly twenty years of facilitating peer cohorts, 21/64 has designed this learning opportunity for individuals who want to explore ideas and questions they’re grappling with in a confidential space to deepen their capacity to lead through changing times. Powered by the collective intelligence of like-minded peers, each cohort will have a learning agenda led by senior 21/64 staff including peer consultation. Participants will enhance their previous 21/64 experience by focusing on the application of skills and tools in each participant’s individual context.
Peer Group for Philanthropic Practitioners of Color Working with Families
Description:
- Due to the demand by individuals in the network and based on the success of the Practitioners of Color Peer Cohort piloted in 2020, we will be hosting another peer cohort experience for the month of August 2021 dedicated for Certified Advisors from the 21/64 network who identify as a person of color (POC). Over four weeks (one meeting per week over zoom), we will discuss the unparalleled aspects and nuances of identifying as philanthropic practitioners of color who work with generous families and who are building our own practices or navigating working at a larger organization or institution. Join this group to learn and explore the intersection of identity and professional success as agents of change in the field.
What to expect:
This peer learning group will meet weekly for four two-hour online sessions. Each session will include a 21/64 senior staff member who will facilitate the session, offering content specific to the cohort. Over the course of the four sessions, each participant will also be expected to share a specific challenge or opportunity for structured peer consultation.
Each peer learning group will be capped at eight participants and is first come first serve. If you are interested in participating but unable to join a group at this time, please let us know, as we will develop additional groups based on demand.
Schedule of Peer Learning Group:
October 7, 14, 21 and 28 at 1:00 - 3:00pm ET
Fee:
- Early Bird Pricing: $550 per person until September 3rd
- $650 per person after September 3rd
