21/64 has a long history of working with undergraduate students as interns. This Intern Program has a goal to provide interns the opportunity to gain first-hand experience in the field of philanthropy and advice of multigenerational family in the philanthropic and non-profit sectors. This is a unique experience for students to work within an organization focused on making an impact.
As an intern, students will join a team that provides donor education, training and facilitation to individuals, families, and their professional advisors. Interns will get hands-on experience by contributing in the following ways:
- Conduct research/analysis
- Develop programmatic materials, social media strategies
- Drafting op-eds
- Utilize tech skills to analyze data, work on virtual programming, etc.
- Identify places of creativity/innovation in our current methods/programs
- Balance working across various stakeholder teams
- Provide administrative support
Requirements
To qualify, interns must:
- Currently be enrolled in an undergraduate education program
- Demonstrate an interest in next gen and family philanthropy in the nonprofit sector
- Possess the ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly, to be flexible, adaptable and take initiative, extraordinary writing and verbal communication proficiencies, high-level of organizational skills, ability to work and collaborate with many team members
- Be willing/able to work approximately 10+ hours per week
