Courageous Conversations on Race and Leadership
At 21/64, we continually reflect on how to use our power effectively, humbly, and courageously. Families, advisors, and organizations often turn to us to help navigate sensitive conversations around wealth, privilege, legacy, and family dynamics.
Courageous Conversations on Race and Leadership is a five-week program created in collaboration with Simon Greer, founder of Courageous Conversations, and his colleague Tina Grace. Through film, dialogue, and experiential learning, participants explore what it means to lead with awareness, humility, and courage.
Grounded in 21/64’s trusted frameworks and facilitation methods, this offering equips leaders with practical tools to hold meaningful conversations about race within their organizations, networks, and communities. Participants leave with the conviction, skills, and confidence to advance equity and connection in their professional and personal lives.

PJSF x 21/64 Board Leadership Course
Nonprofit board participation is a significant responsibility, and individuals joining boards for the first time can often feel unprepared to step into the role with confidence. To prepare the next generation of philanthropic leaders for this important work, 21/64 partnered with The Paul and Jenna Segal Foundation to create a hands-on course that builds the knowledge, confidence, and leadership skills needed to serve effectively.
This 1.5-day immersive experience blends experiential learning with practical skill-building, equipping participants to approach board service with clarity and purpose. Participants will learn both the hard and soft skills essential to effective board participation, including defining and shaping organizational purpose and vision; strategic planning and decision-making; financial literacy and fundraising; fiduciary, legal, and ethical responsibilities; and leveraging time, talent, treasure, and ties for greater impact.
Guided by experienced board members and experts in strategy, finance, law, and leadership, this course provides the insight, tools, and confidence needed to make meaningful contributions to the boards you serve.

This program, content, and community are all keenly designed for donors to align their values with their giving and consider how they want to allocate their time, talent, treasure, and ties to make an impact.
