A revolution in philanthropy is on the rise as Gen X and Millennial philanthropists will be the most significant donors ever and intend to reshape our world in profound ways. They have ambitious plans to change the world and create greater impact, and yet, are still in the midst of their philanthropic identity formation. Field research and experience indicates that this generation is hungry to learn, connect and are seeking advisors who understand them.
The 21/64 Engaging Gen Impact training is designed to pull back the curtain on who this generation is and how they desire to connect, to share learning styles and program design, and help participants begin or deepen your work with the next generation in your community.
This curriculum for this two day training models the content, presenting research based learning and engagement tools and design strategies refined by 20 years of practical experience from 21/64. The interactive learning process will allow participants to internalize new content and pivot into strategic planning to implement in your community. Time to consult with your peers in the room and facilitators on both days allows you to address your specific challenges and tap into the wisdom of the group as you develop and document your own strategy.
This training is being piloted with the Greater Houston Community Foundation given their significant work on this issue.
