Kimberly Bobenhausen brings more than a decade of experience in Planned Giving, with a deep commitment to helping donors make meaningful, lasting contributions. She has worked in both media and higher education, giving her a well-rounded perspective on how to align donor passions with organizational missions.
As Director of Planned Giving at Southern Adventist University, Kim manages a portfolio of over 300 donor relationships and leads strategic efforts to grow the university’s Legacy Society. She holds the Certified Specialist in Planned Giving (CSPG) designation from the American Institute for Philanthropic Studies and earned her B.A. in English Literature from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Kim is known for her donor-centric approach—taking time to understand each individual’s values and vision for impact. Her favorite part of fundraising is building authentic relationships that honor both generosity and legacy. Outside of work, Kim enjoys life in Chattanooga, TN, and is the proud mother of two grown children.
