Maritza Guzmán has experience in leading, managing, and advising projects in funder collaboration, funder engagement, strategic planning, grantmaking strategy development, foundation learning and capacity building, and family foundation management. She holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Columbia University, with a focus on social policy and management.
Maritza is passionate about advancing equity and social justice through her work, reflecting her personal and professional commitment to opportunity for all. She has a proven track record of cultivating strategic partnerships and developing innovative solutions for complex social challenges. She leverages her expertise to support the success and sustainability of her clients and partners. She teaches professional development courses for new foundation staff at The Grantmaking School at the Dorothy A. Johnson Center, and is a 21/64 Certified Advisor.
