A Senior Philanthropic Advisor at the Greater Cincinnati Foundation (GCF), Laura helps generous individuals, families, and companies achieve their charitable goals through lifetime giving and estate plans. She leads GCF’s Northern Kentucky Fund and a suite of endowments designated for the permanent support of nonprofits in three Kentucky counties. Previously, Laura worked for a family foundation in Washington, DC, and in Development at Boston Children’s Hospital. She is a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy.®
Laura has served on the Boards of the Metropolitan Club, the DevouGood Foundation, Renaissance Covington, and the Historic Licking Riverside Civic Association, as well as on the Planned Giving Committees for the St. Elizabeth Foundation and Redwood. She is a member of Impact 100, the women’s collective giving program for which she led the Charlotte R. Schmidlapp Young Philanthropist Scholarship Program, and she was appointed to the Endow Kentucky Commission by Governor Andy Beshear. Laura was Chair of the Leadership Northern Kentucky (LNK) Class of 2020 and received the Ruth A. Eger Leader of Distinction Award from LNK in 2022. She competed in the 2019 Dancing with the CLC Stars to benefit the Children’s Law Center and took home the trophy for fundraising (not talent!) In 2020, she received an Outstanding Women of Northern Kentucky award. Laura grew up in Rhode Island, graduated from Stanford University, and moved to Cincinnati in 2012. She now happily lives in Covington.
