Picture Your Legacy®
Your legacy is lived each day. This tool will inspire you to be intentional in your actions now and in the future, allowing you to leave a legacy aligned with who you are.
Picture Your Legacy®
Newly refreshed in 2022, Picture Your Legacy® is a set of image cards that guides individuals, groups and families toward articulating a legacy - be it in business, philanthropy, or life. We recognize that it’s difficult to start with a blank sheet of paper and write down a vision from scratch. Using images and a sorting experience more effectively stimulates thinking and language about vision by accessing different parts of your brain allowing you to better articulate your vision for your life, work or giving.
Do this exercise on your own, and if useful, share or compare with others. You can explore in small groups or large groups where you see differences and similarities allowing this tool and exercise to generate a rich exploratory discussion.
This exercise provides an opportunity to articulate the words and sentiments that can inform a mission statement, vision statement, or message to family, collaborators and partners in your work.
Thanks to the 21/64 Advisory Committee and larger 21/64 Certified Advisors for your input and guidance to evolve this tool.
