Kelli is the Vice President of Programs and Community Engagement with The Simmons Foundation (Houston, TX). She leads the implementation of their social justice-focused grantmaking and community engagement strategies.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Kelli led a nationally recognized school-based health outreach initiative in the state of Texas. Bringing a strong community lens into grantmaking, Kelli has been a champion for meaningful collaborations with directly impacted people.
Kelli brings passion and strategy to her role as a philanthropic leader and advocate for social justice.
Kelli currently serves on the boards of Funders Together to End Homelessness and Funders for LGBTQ Issues.
Kelli is actively engaged in her local community often hosting discussions on local elections, leadership, and ways to support local, Black-led organizations.
Kelli received her bachelor’s degree from New York University and attended graduate school at the University of California at Los Angeles. Kelli is an ACC-level coach with the International Coaching Federation and a 21/64 certified advisor.
