If you've taken the Art of Facilitation you're already familiar with Annie’s session on tone and intention. In this interactive workshop, participants will learn the subtle yet powerful techniques of commanding attention and exuding confidence as they enter any space. From boardrooms to social gatherings to meeting new clients and giving presentations, mastering the art of the entrance can significantly impact your presence and influence. Through practical exercises and insightful discussions, attendees will discover how mindset and preparation can transform an ordinary entrance into a commanding presence. This free event is open to everyone. We encourage our community to invite colleagues, clients, and donors.

Other than grad school, it was the best professional development program I’ve ever been a part of.  It taught me a new way of approaching my work and interacting with donor families.

I highly recommend this training, even if you are quite experienced in family meeting facilitation and client management. In addition to providing outstanding content, the training works on almost a meta level — not only are you covering the toolkits and techniques for facilitating family meetings in detail, but in addition you are able to observe skilled facilitators demonstrate these techniques in action as they work with the group. You are able to reflect about yourself and about the approach you bring to client work as you use the tools, and you are also able to learn from and share best practices with the highly experienced group of peers who attend the training alongside you. A highly valuable use of time!
