Throughout my career, I have been drawn to the interconnected relationships that shape philanthropy, and to understanding how identity, lived experience, family, community, values, and resources inform the ways we give and the impact we hope to have. Over more than 20 years in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors, I have worked as a fundraiser, philanthropic advisor, nonprofit capacity builder, grantmaker, and foundation leader. These experiences have shaped my belief that thoughtful philanthropy begins with curiosity, listening, strong relationships, and a willingness to understand what matters most to the people involved.

I currently serve as Executive Vice President of the Anschutz Family Foundation, where I help lead grantmaking and work alongside nonprofit leaders, philanthropic partners, and communities across Colorado. Previously, at Constellation Philanthropy, I helped individuals and foundations deepen their understanding of Colorado’s early childhood landscape while supporting nonprofits in communicating their work to prospective funders. My perspective has also been shaped by nonprofit fundraising, small business ownership, and international experiences, including serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Lesotho. Living and working across cultures taught me to question assumptions, listen first, and recognize how our histories, cultures, and lived experiences shape our understanding of generosity, community, and impact.

Becoming a 21/64 Certified Advisor feels like a natural extension of this journey. I enjoy helping individuals and families explore the values, experiences, and cultural influences that shape their giving, articulate the impact they hope to have, and navigate the personal and intergenerational conversations that often accompany philanthropy. I approach this work with curiosity, cultural awareness, and an appreciation that meaningful giving looks different for every individual and family.
