Whitney Feld served as Vice President, Philanthropic Advancement at Foundation For The Carolinas. In her role, Whitney led a team dedicated to business development and relationship management for FFTC’s Center for Personal Philanthropy, including management of Planned Giving and FFTC Family Office Partners, which serves the philanthropic needs of family offices and family-owned businesses.
During her tenure at FFTC, most of her work was with individuals and families, assisting with current gifting strategies, legacy planning, and multi-generational family engagement and grantmaking. In addition to her management responsibilities, she maintained a portfolio of significant family and foundation relationships, provided custom board and grant services for clients with competitive grantmaking programs, and was involved with FFTC’s continuing legal education courses.
Whitney holds a B.F.A. from Miami University, a M.S.T. from Pace University and a J.D. from the Charleston School of Law. Whitney is a member of the American Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association and currently sits on the Board of the Mint Museum of Art Collections and Arts for Life. She previously served on the boards of the North Carolinas Association of Women Attorneys and Promising Pages. Whitney completed the CFP certification program at Queens University in 2020.
