Whitney is Vice President of Philanthropic Services for the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation and its national counterpart, Greater Horizons.
Whitney leads a team of philanthropic advisors dedicated to helping donors create meaningful and lasting impact through their giving. She oversees donor education programs and works closely with families and private foundations to clarify their philanthropic vision and guide strategic investments. Whitney also designs and facilitates customized programs tailored to the unique goals of the philanthropists she serves.
Whitney earned her Bachelor of Arts in French studies and a concentration in leadership studies from Williams College in Williamstown, Mass. Whitney volunteers with several organizations, including serving as co-chair of the Williams College Alumni Fund, on the vestry of her church, and in various leadership roles with the Belles of the American Royal (BOTAR) Organization. Whitney is a graduate of the Kansas City Tomorrow program. In 2016, Whitney earned the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® designation to better serve the donors she works with.
