Traci Douglas, CAP®, is a Senior Philanthropic Advisor at the Greater Cincinnati Foundation with more than 27 years of leadership experience spanning community foundations, higher education, philanthropy, and the nonprofit sector. She partners with individuals, families, and organizations to align their charitable giving with their values and create meaningful, lasting community impact.
At the heart of Traci’s work is her love for building authentic relationships. She believes that effective philanthropic advising begins with listening, understanding, and meeting people where they are. By taking the time to learn each donor’s story, values, and aspirations, she helps individuals and families navigate their philanthropic journeys with confidence and purpose. Her approach centers on building trust, fostering meaningful conversations, and helping donors move beyond transactions to create a lasting impact.
Traci has a particular passion for Black Giving, faith-informed advising, and helping families engage multiple generations in charitable giving. She believes philanthropy is about more than financial resources; it is an opportunity to preserve family values, strengthen relationships, advance equity, and inspire future generations to embrace generosity and service.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Management from Wilberforce University and a Master of Arts in Philanthropy and Development from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. She is also a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®), reflecting her commitment to continued learning and excellence in philanthropic advising.
Grounded in her faith and commitment to service, Traci approaches her work with empathy, curiosity, and integrity. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, an organization whose legacy of sisterhood, scholarship, public service, and social action aligns with her personal and professional values.
Through her work, Traci is committed to advancing equitable philanthropy, strengthening donor and community relationships, and helping individuals and families build philanthropic legacies that reflect who they are and what they hope to leave for generations to come.
