Tara Siegman is passionate about philanthropy and the power of community. In her most recent role as Vice President of Philanthropy at the Oregon Jewish Community Foundation (OJCF) and previously as an associate at the Oregon Community Foundation (OCF) she was deeply honored to support kindhearted individuals and families as they actualized their philanthropic values and improved the world through thoughtful giving.
With more than 30 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Tara has worked in statewide philanthropy, national public policy and local fund development. She spent the past 15+ years working with community foundations and donor advised funds.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science & Public Policy from George Washington University and a Master of Public Administration with a specialization in Nonprofit Management from Portland State University.
Tara is a 21/64 Certified Advisor trained in multigenerational philanthropy. She earned a certificate in Nonprofit Financial Stewardship (Harvard University Executive Education) and is working toward the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® designation.
