Sarah Hench is a Senior Donor Relations Officer on the Philanthropic Services team of Oregon Community Foundation. Her role involves stewarding advised fund donors across the state of Oregon, assisting them in meeting their philanthropic goals and channeling their passion into impact for the causes they care about. Prior to joining OCF in February 2016, Sarah coordinated development efforts for the executive team of the Native Arts and Cultures Foundation. She is experienced in nonprofit development, including managing major gifts and grant portfolios for national policy and advocacy organizations.
Sarah works with multi-generational families, transitions in giving, giving strategies and facilitating connections between donors and nonprofits. Sarah also partners with the Giving Strategies team at OCF, which provides philanthropic consulting to individuals, private foundations, and families.
