Jill McIlroy is a Philanthropic Advisor at the Arizona Community Foundation, where she partners with individuals and families to translate their values into meaningful charitable impact—both during their lifetimes and as part of their legacy planning. With more than 22 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Jill brings a deep understanding of donor engagement, strategic giving, and the unique needs of mission-driven organizations.
Her career spans fundraising and grant writing roles, primarily within arts organizations, giving her a practitioner’s perspective on how philanthropy fuels vibrant communities. Jill holds multiple professional designations, including 21/64 Certified Advisor, Certified Gift Planning Professional (CGPP), and Chartered Advisor of Philanthropy® (CAP®), and is currently completing the Certified Impact Philanthropy Advisor (IPA) designation through Daylight Advisors—reflecting her commitment to thoughtful, impact-driven giving.
A two-time Sun Devil, Jill earned a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Studies and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Arizona State University, and recently completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Philanthropic Studies from the University of Kent in the UK.
Originally from suburban Philadelphia, Jill now lives in Phoenix, Arizona, with her two sons—and remains unwaveringly loyal to all Philadelphia sports teams.
