Genine is a Director and Head of Family Education & Governance at Emigrant Family Office and Fortis Management Group and focuses on multi-generational learning, governance design, and human-capital development. She works with families to strengthen communication, leadership, and stewardship across generations, while building frameworks that support healthy, enduring family enterprises. She is especially energized by the “aha” moments—when new perspectives emerge and individuals gain confidence in who they are and what they’re capable of.
Since 2013, Genine has worked with families, advisors, and family offices on rising generation education, leadership development, and governance. She previously served as Director and Principal Trainer at Independent Means, a pioneering firm in the field of family wealth education, and as Director of Family Learning at Pitcairn. She brings global experience advising families, institutions, and impact‑driven initiatives across North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
Genine holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business, where she served as Co‑President of Graduate Women in Business and as a Golub Capital Board Fellow. She is trained as a Gallup‑certified Strengths Coach and 21/64 Advisor.
Outside of work, Genine enjoys spending time with her son and fur daughter, exploring the outdoors, traveling, and experimenting in the kitchen.
