In this capacity Danielle has helped to run or launch several giving circles including the San Francisco Jewish Women’s Fund, the Jewish Pride Fund, the Jews of Color Tzedek Fund, the Intergenerational Marin Pop-up on Shared Society in Israel, and the Global Jewish Citizens Fund. While at the Federation Danielle leveraged her networks and trust built over a decade in the community to assemble and co-facilitate the Racial Justice Task Force, spearhead diversity training and an equity assessment at the Federation to advance cultural and systemic change. Danielle’s training as a conflict facilitator, giving circle facilitator from Amplifier, donor-advisor, and in the methodology called Liberating Structures has proved foundational.

Danielle holds a BA in anthropology and psychology from the University of Vermont and did her undergraduate research on the privatization of kibbutzim in Israel. She has a master’s in international nonprofit management and conflict transformation across cultures from the School for International Training and did her master’s work and research in Israel during the Second Intifada working with an NGO of Jewish Israelis and Palestinians in East Jerusalem, while practicing facilitation and dialogue with the Israel Interfaith Encounter Association. Danielle is a Wexner Heritage Fellow alumnus.
