Christine Brodnan believes in our shared responsibility to build strong communities where all children and families can thrive. With over 15 years of experience spanning philanthropy, nonprofit leadership, education and civic engagement, Chris has focused her career on revitalizing organizations, building cross-sector coalitions, connecting people and resources, and translating data and community insight into strategies that strengthen organizations and improve outcomes.
Driven by a commitment to meaningful, lasting community change, Chris co-founded Amplify & Connect Advisors, a philanthropic advisory firm that helps individuals, families, foundations and businesses align their values with their giving, connect with community needs and opportunities, and translate their resources into thoughtful, strategic action. As a 21/64 Certified Advisor, Chris brings specialized training in multigenerational philanthropy and values-based giving to her work with clients.
Throughout her career, Chris has led organizations and initiatives through periods of growth and change. As President of The Junior League of Atlanta, she led the 2,000+ member organization through a significant strategic transformation, including launching a citywide focus on literacy and introducing a new signature fundraiser. Previously, at Horizons Atlanta, she developed a region-wide approach to continuous quality improvement, helping programs use data to strengthen quality and outcomes. Her early work at the Annie E. Casey Foundation helped launch the Georgia Campaign for Grade-Level Reading.
Today, Chris extends that work through civic leadership across Atlanta, serving as Advisory Board Chair of Neighborhood Nexus, on the Board of Directors of Voices for Georgia’s Children, and on the Alliance Theatre Advisory Board.
Across her professional and civic work, Chris is drawn to opportunities that bring people together, strengthen organizations and turn shared priorities into action.
