Diane Higginbotham

Senior Consultant

Diane Higginbotham is a philanthropic professional, facilitator, coach, and 21/64 Certified Advisor with more than two decades of experience helping people explore the values, experiences, and relationships that shape how they give and engage with others.

Diane currently serves as a consultant and facilitator with 21/64, where she supports trainings using 21/64’s values-based tools and frameworks. She previously served as a Senior Consultant with the organization, working with philanthropic advisors, donors, and families to deepen conversations around values, purpose, legacy, and multigenerational giving.

Through her practice, Dialogue with Diane, Diane provides coaching, speaking, facilitation, and training for philanthropic advisors and nonprofit professionals. She also consults with WISEgenerosity, supporting its work to strengthen donor engagement, and teaches and facilitates programs with New Directions Career Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Diane’s career includes leadership roles at the Greater Houston Community Foundation and The Columbus Foundation, where her work encompassed donor engagement, philanthropic advising, scholarship programs, and other philanthropic initiatives.

Grounded in a counseling background, Diane brings curiosity, active listening, and a deeply relational approach to her work. She is especially drawn to the conversations that invite people to explore not only what they value, but how their lived experiences, family stories, identities, and relationships influence the choices they make.

Diane believes meaningful conversations begin with creating space for people to feel heard, respected, and understood, and that some of the most important insights emerge when we are willing to pause long enough to listen.
