Effective Date: August 1, 2026
At 21/64, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website at 2164.net, how we use it, and what choices you have. We’ve tried to write this in plain language — if something is unclear, please reach out.
What Information We Collect
Information you give us directly
When you create an account, register for a training, workshop, or event, purchase a membership or other offering, or fill out a contact form, we may collect:
- Your name and email address
- A password (stored securely; we never store passwords in plain text)
- Billing address and phone number
- Your organization and role (optional)
- Your registration, training, and certification history
- Payment information — this is collected and processed directly by our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store your full card number on our servers
If you purchase a gift certificate or store credit for someone else, we also collect the recipient’s email address so we can deliver it.
If you become a Certified Advisor and choose to have a public bio listed on our site, we collect the biographical information, photo, and contact details you provide for that listing. Publishing your bio is entirely your choice.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours collects certain technical information when you visit, including:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages you visit, how long you spend on them, and how you navigate the site
- The website that referred you to us
- Approximate location derived from your IP address (used to estimate applicable taxes at checkout)
We also use cookies to keep track of your shopping cart while you browse.
Comments
If you leave a comment on our site, we collect the information you enter in the comment form, along with your IP address and browser details, to help prevent spam. Comments may be checked through an automated spam-detection service. An anonymized version of your email address may be shared with Gravatar to check whether you have a profile image there.
Images you upload
If you upload images to the site (for example, a headshot for your advisor bio), please be aware that image files can contain embedded location data. Visitors to the site may be able to download and extract that information from published images, so we recommend removing location data from photos before uploading.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Process your registrations, purchases, membership payments, and renewals
- Deliver and honor store credit and gift certificates
- Maintain accurate records of your training history, certifications, and membership
- Send you transactional messages — like registration confirmations, reminders, renewal notices, and account alerts
- Send marketing and program communications (you can opt out of these at any time)
- Respond to questions and inquiries
- Detect and filter spam
- Understand how people use our site so we can improve it
- Keep our site secure
- Meet our legal obligations
- Reach new and existing audiences through advertising on platforms like LinkedIn.
Advertising And Audience Matching
We use LinkedIn to reach professionals interested in 21/64’s trainings and programs. To do this, we may share hashed versions of your contact information (such as email address) with LinkedIn to match against LinkedIn members and build advertising audiences. We do not share raw contact information for advertising purposes and we do not authorize LinkedIn to use this data for its own purposes beyond audience matching. We may add other advertising platforms (such as Google or Meta) in the future, in which case we will update this policy.
California residents: this constitutes “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under CPRA. You may opt out at any time via our Cookie Settings link, or by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser, which we honor.
Cookies And Tracking
Our site uses cookies — small files stored on your device that help us recognize you, keep your cart intact, and understand how the site is used.
Types of cookies we use:
- Strictly necessary — Required for basic site functions like logging in and keeping items in your cart. These cannot be turned off.
- Analytics — Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. These are only set with your consent.
- Marketing — Used by our communications tools to deliver relevant messages and measure their effectiveness. These are only set with your consent.
- Comment — If you leave a comment and opt in, these remember your name and email so you don’t have to re-enter them next time. They last one year.
- Consent — Our consent management tool records your cookie choices. Your IP address is anonymized before being stored for this purpose.
You’re in control. When you first visit the site, a cookie consent banner lets you choose which categories of cookies to accept. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the “Cookie Settings” link in our site footer. Disabling non-essential cookies won’t prevent you from browsing the site, but may affect some features like logging in or completing a purchase.
Analytics tools we use
We use Google Analytics (loaded through the MonsterInsights plugin) and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with our site. These services may collect information such as pages visited, clicks, scrolling behavior, and session activity. Microsoft Clarity may also capture session replays and heatmaps. Analytics cookies are only set after you consent.
Third-Party Tools And Services
Running a website like ours requires working with a few trusted third parties. Here’s who they are and what role they play:
| Service | What they do |
|---|---|
| Stripe | Processes payments at checkout. See the Stripe Privacy Policy (stripe.com/privacy). |
| HubSpot | Our CRM and marketing platform — manages communications and program records. See the HubSpot Privacy Policy (legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy). |
| We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag on our site for conversion tracking, retargeting, and the creation of matched and predictive audiences. We also share hashed versions of contact information (such as email addresses) with LinkedIn to build matched audiences of known 21/64 contacts. LinkedIn cannot recover the underlying email from the hash. You can opt out of LinkedIn advertising at linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out and manage your consent for LinkedIn tracking on our site via Cookie Settings. See the LinkedIn Privacy Policy (linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy). | |
| Zapier | Routes order and registration information from our store to our CRM and related systems. See the Zapier Privacy Policy (zapier.com/privacy). |
| Google Tag Manager | Manages and loads the tracking tools described above. |
| Gravity Forms | Powers our contact, registration, and inquiry forms. |
| Cloudflare | Provides security and performance for our site. Sets a strictly necessary security cookie. |
| accessiBe | Accessibility overlay that helps make our site usable for everyone. May store an accessibility-preference cookie. |
| SiteGround | Hosts our website and processes all site data as our hosting provider. |
| Complianz | Our cookie consent management tool — records your consent choices. |
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share your data with the providers listed above, as needed to operate our site and programs, or if required by law.
Note: If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
Embedded Content
Pages on our site may include embedded content from other websites — for example, videos or articles. That embedded content behaves as if you had visited the other site directly, and those sites may collect data about you, use cookies, or track your interaction with the content.
How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep your information only as long as we need it:
- Account, training, and certification records are kept as long as your account is active, since certifications remain valid over time and belong to you.
- Order and transaction records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes.
- Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely so we can recognize and auto-approve follow-up comments. You can request deletion at any time (see Your Choices below).
- Transactional emails (like order confirmations) are logged for support purposes. These logs are accessible only to site administrators.
- Other information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes described here, then securely deleted or anonymized.
Who On Our Team Has Access
Our site administrators and staff can access the information needed to fulfill orders, process refunds, and support you — including your name, email address, billing details, and order history. If you have a registered account, you can view and edit most of your own profile information by logging in.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect your information. Payments are processed over encrypted connections, and we don’t store full card numbers on our servers. That said, no system is completely immune to risk, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
You have options when it comes to your information:
- Update your account by logging in at any time.
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link at the bottom of any message we send.
- Manage your cookie preferences using the Cookie Settings link in our footer.
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your personal information (note that we may need to retain some data for legal, tax, or security reasons).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].
California Residents
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know what information we collect, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell personal information. We do share personal information (hashed contact data) with advertising platforms for cross-context behavioral advertising, as described in the Advertising and Audience Matching section above. You may opt out via Cookie Settings or by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser, which we honor.
International Visitors
Our site is operated from the United States. If you are visiting from the European Union, United Kingdom, European Economic Area, or another region with privacy regulations, please know that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your region.
For visitors from the EU, UK, or EEA, we rely on your consent (given through our cookie banner) as the legal basis for processing non-essential cookies and analytics data. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Children'S Privacy
Our site is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have, we will delete it promptly.
Third-Party Links
Our site may contain links to other websites, including our social media pages and the private LinkedIn group for Certified Advisors. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we’ll update the effective date at the top and post the revised version on our site. Continuing to use our site after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
