Laura Polachek joined the Cleveland Foundation in October 2024, and provides high-level services and technical support to donors, organizational fund partners and the Philanthropic Services team.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Laura spent seven years in corporate philanthropy at The Sherwin-Williams Company, managing the matching gifts program, employee giving campaign and charitable sponsorship requests, and supporting The Sherwin-Williams Foundation. Prior to that, she spent more than 10 years with the American Cancer Society in a variety of development roles, including Community and Volunteer Involvement Director and National Account Manager, Corporate Relations. She has extensive experience in fundraising, volunteer management, donor relations and event planning.
Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with an English minor from Bowling Green State University.
