Krista Riddley is a strategist and philanthropic advisor with more than two decades of experience working across social justice, global development, humanitarian response, and philanthropy. She supports donors, family foundations, and institutions in clarifying purpose, developing strategy, and translating values into thoughtful, long-term approaches to social impact.
Krista has led and advised complex programs and initiatives in the United States and Sub-Saharan Africa, most recently as a Senior Program Officer at Wellspring Philanthropic Fund, where she managed a multi-million-dollar portfolio focused on preventing violence against children and supporting community-anchored, evidence-based approaches. Earlier in her career, she held senior roles at the UN Foundation’s Clean Cooking Alliance, USAID, Oxfam America, and Amnesty International USA, working at the intersection of strategy, policy, advocacy, and program implementation.
Her work is shaped by deep experience in program and strategy development, cross-cultural partnership, and navigating complexity — as well as by her background as a coach, which informs a relational, reflective approach to working with individuals and families around values, decision-making, and dynamics. Krista brings a calm, inquiry-driven presence to advisory relationships, helping clients move from intention to action with clarity and care.
Krista holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia University, a BA from Iowa State University, and is a former Rotary Foundation Scholar at the Université de Côte d’Ivoire. She is a Certified 21/64 Advisor. Krista enjoys cycling, strength training, and long-distance challenges — including successfully summiting Mount Kilimanjaro.
