Naomie Macena is Associate Vice President and Philanthropy Associate at Bessemer Trust. In this role, she manages and oversees philanthropic portfolios for client foundations to advance their mission and goals, leveraging her experience in grantmaking and program management, communications and deliverable development, research and analysis, and project management.
Prior to joining Bessemer, Naomie worked at the Foundation for Child Development (FCD) as a program officer, responsible for managing a grants portfolio focused on the early childhood education workforce. She also managed FCD’s Young Scholars Fellowship Program, which provides research grants and professional development for early-career researchers.
Naomie earned an M.S.W. with a concentration in administration and development from Andrews University and a B.S./M.A. in criminal justice and sociology from St. John’s University in New York.
