Jessica is a Senior Philanthropic Advisor at Hemenway & Barnes, LLP where she works with individuals, families, charitable trusts and foundations to provide a range of philanthropic and client services. She works closely with in-house legal, tax, and investment experts to meet clients’ individual needs and vision for their philanthropy. Jessica assists foundations with their grantmaking, beginning with planning through grant research, site visits, grant application review, grant recommendations, and preparation of gift agreements. She also supports clients with strategic planning, succession planning, and working across generations. Before joining Hemenway & Barnes, LLP in 2018, Jessica worked in fundraising and communications for nonprofit organizations in Boston and Washington, DC. She is a longtime member of The Philanthropy Connection, a women’s collective group, and serves on the board of the Hingham Public Library. Jessica lives in Hingham, MA with her husband and two young children.
