Paul Edelman, PhD, PCC
Paul Edelman works with family enterprises, family offices, and their advisors on complex decisions involving leadership, ownership, governance, and generational transition. His focus is helping individuals and groups think clearly together, take responsibility for their choices, and build confidence in decisions that will shape the future of the family and enterprise.
Paul’s work is grounded in a practical decision-making framework he developed, the COImpAct model, which helps families and advisory teams slow down just enough to:
develop a shared understanding of the situation they are facing,
clarify what outcomes matter most, individually and collectively,
consider the likely implications of different paths forward, and
determine actions they are prepared to own and sustain.
Rather than offering prescriptive advice, Paul facilitates one-on-one and group conversations that support planning, problem-solving, governance design, conflict navigation, and leadership development across generations. He frequently works alongside wealth managers, attorneys, trustees, and other advisors to strengthen collaboration and judgment in high-stakes moments.
Paul is a Professional Certified Coach and Certified Master Facilitator. He earned his PhD in Developmental Psychology at Harvard, where he served as a Teaching and Research Fellow in Group Dynamics.
