Date: December 4, 2024, 1:00-2:00pm ET
In 2024, we're continuing our Tool Talk series which will take place on a quarterly basis. Tool Talks are workshops that provide insight into 21/64's uniquely developed tools, allow you to experience them firsthand, hear from others who use the tool, and ask questions about the tools and how to facilitate them.
The fourth tool we'll discuss this year is our Time, Talent, Treasure, Ties tool.
With this simple, yet insightful, tool can help donors consider the sum of all their philanthropic resources, beyond just the financial, and determine how to leverage them strategically and meaningfully. Utilizing the worksheet pad and instructional guide, users will reflect on how they’ve been allocating their resources in each of the four categories during the past year; then, they will set intentions for how they would like to harness their (valuable) Time, (unique) Talent, (generous) Treasure & (peer network) Ties in the year ahead. This exercise provides an accessible blueprint for formulating future philanthropic strategies along with a set of tactical, next steps to guide donors in advancing their vision for change.
Time, Talent, Treasure & Ties can be used in numerous settings, from one-on-one to a large group:
-
-
- Use it one-on-one with donors to assist with philanthropic planning;
- Apply Time, Talent, Treasure & Ties in conjunction with Picture Your Legacy to align resource allocation with a vision for the year(s) ahead;
- Gather family or group members who can help one another maximize their philanthropic impact in each category of giving, and;
- Read Generation Impact to compliment the tool by gaining a deeper understanding of how next gen donors think about allocating their resources to create strategic impact.
-
Join us for a walk through on this tool led by 21/64 Senior Director Jumi Falusi Samen.
This session will take place on Zoom.
