Founder, Beatrice Advisors | Founder, All Star Code | Co-Founder, Giving Gap
At 21/64, we support individuals, families, and organizations as they learn to give, govern, and serve together. This week’s spotlight, Christina Lewis, embodies all three roles—navigating her sense of self, stepping into leadership with purpose, and shaping a multigenerational enterprise that reflects both innovation and intention.
As the founder of Beatrice Advisors, a relationship-driven multi-family office, Christina brings a fresh approach to wealth advising—one grounded in empathy, inclusivity, and meaningful connection. She’s also the founder of All Star Code and co-founder of Giving Gap, each a testament to her drive to expand access, equity, and opportunity.
In this Q&A, Christina offers candid reflections on what motivates her work, the values that anchor her leadership, and the evolving needs of rising generation wealth holders. She also shares how her 21/64 Approach Training has supported her journey—offering tools to deepen understanding, strengthen communication, and support the family dynamics that often shape our most important decisions.
We’re honored to share Christina’s voice with our community—and to highlight the clarity, purpose, and care she brings to every role she plays.
Who is a person that has had a profound influence on you. How so? Without a doubt my father, Reginald Lewis, the first African American to build a billion-dollar company. It’s my father’s legacy as a pioneering financier and entrepreneur, as well as the important work of my mother, Filipino-born American businesswoman and philanthropist Loida Lewis, that inspired so much of my work, including founding Giving Gap, creating All Star Code and most recently, Beatrice Advisors, a relationship-driven multi-family office that blends financial expertise with deep personal connection and purpose for the next generation.
What is the best part of your work? My passion is helping people and families become their best selves. At Beatrice, I am lucky to work every day with a diverse, experienced team that approaches each relationship with depth, care and strategic insight, empowering client-partners to feel confident that their wealth is working for them. This purpose is at the core of everything I do.
What is one value that motivates you and how have you brought this into your work? A financial adviser once told me about his client who stated, “I want a team to help, but I want to be in the driver’s seat. I’m in charge.” That is the approach we take at Beatrice. Our client-partners seek not just service, but connection, and they actually want to be involved in the process. They value a personal relationship, an inclusive and thoughtful environment and an advisor who understands the human side of wealth. The engine. This really resonated with me and how we serve our clients.
What is one way the Approach Training changed the way you think about working within a family enterprise? 21/64 Approach Training leveled up my understanding of family dynamics and the skills to function within them and even disrupt dysfunctional ones. The tangible skills and tools helped a lot. The active listening examples and the examples of conversation protocols (make space, take space is my favorite) were outstanding. My mother and I work closely together on our family foundation, as well as on my father’s book and upcoming film. She has also participated in some 21/64 programming, which has helped us align more effectively. We’ve established clearer processes and learned to be more patient with our differences. We now recognize that those differences often stem from generational experiences rather than conflicting goals.
