Multigenerational Approach Training
Please note this is a private training for Executive Directors and Advisors within The Philanthropy Workshop network.
Through our Generation Impact research, we have discovered that next gen donors prioritize making an impact. Given The Philanthropy Workshop’s (TPW) programmatic expertise on strategy and impact, in late 2018 we began having discussions on how we can incorporate their intensive curriculum on strategic philanthropy into our core services.
We discovered that we both have networks comprised of donors dedicated to achieving strategic impact and a values-aligned approach to change. Rather than duplicating efforts, we embarked on a journey to integrate our organizations’s programming and capitalize on this collaboration.
In 2020 and 2021 we are excited to create a programmatic alliance to serve today’s multigenerational philanthropic eco-system of grantmakers, impact investors, family philanthropists, foundation leadership and social investors.
About the Training
21/64's original two-day training and ongoing network is offered exclusively to executive directors and advisors working closely with TPW members. It is designed to build the personal skills, generational awareness, and technical tools to work more effectively with strategic philanthropists, investors and multigenerational family enterprises and to complement key learnings that surface through a TPW member’s philanthropic learning journey.
At this interactive training, participants will learn 21/64’s proven methodology for engaging individuals, families, and institutions at the intersection of values, strategy and governance. The program is specifically designed to help you more comfortably engage in important and often complicated conversations.
Once you’ve completed the 21/64 Approach Training you are eligible to join our network of over one-thousand 21/64 Certified Advisors and have access to continued skill building, next level trainings, the latest resources, and peer connectivity.
