As Director of Philanthropic Strategies in Fidelity Charitable’s Private Donor Group, I have the privilege of enhancing donors’ charitable giving experience and working with them to achieve
their philanthropic goals.
I believe in the power of innovative, creative, multi-generational philanthropy, and can help donors explore ways to have the greatest impact with charitable capital. The opportunities philanthropy offers are as vast as the social needs we face throughout our world. Charitable giving requires attention and thought, yet in this busy life we live, it’s often challenging to carve out the time and space. I am
here to help make the process more joyful and less burdensome.
I began my career in nonprofit arts administration — writing, editing, and
implementing aesthetic education curriculum for Title 1 schools that would otherwise not have arts programs. Additionally, I’ve learned from the broad range of roles I’ve had within the nonprofit sector — from managing a professional dance company to supporting the advancement efforts of universities. This hands-on experience allows me to understand the needs and capabilities of nonprofits and to offer guidance to donors about the best ways to amplify the effect of their giving on the organizations they care about.
Before Fidelity Charitable, I worked at Silicon Valley Community Foundation for five years as an advisor to donors, applying my expertise in
nonprofit management to curate educational events on the challenges and opportunities in philanthropy, guide impact investing, and manage donor circles. I am endlessly passionate about creating equitable opportunities for
all and embracing the beauty and diversity of our global world.
My undergraduate degree is from Chapman University, where I studied dance and theatre. My graduate degree is from Louisiana State University in nonprofit administration. A native of the Bay Area, I now reside in Denver with my family, where I find myself distracted daily by the beauty of the Rocky Mountains.
