Melanie Camp, Director of Major Gifts Acquisition at Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP), leads the initiative to build and reinforce the pipeline of CJP’s future philanthropic leaders. She is chiefly responsible for leading a team to grow new relationships for CJP including the development and implementation of strategies and initiatives with a focus on potential major donors under age 50. In addition to this work, Melanie manages a portfolio of the Boston Jewish community’s highest capacity donors and prospects focusing on growing current use, planned and endowment gifts as well as donor advised funds.
Prior to joining CJP, Melanie served as the Director of Partnerships for the GreenLight Fund, a venture philanthropy organization focused on importing innovative social enterprise models with demonstrated results in the local community. Before joining the GreenLight team, Melanie managed special events and the Young Professionals group at the Boston Public Library Foundation.
Melanie is a proud mentor with Silver Lining Mentoring and a member of the GreenLight Fund Selection Advisory Council. She earned her B.A. from University of Massachusetts, Amherst and is a member of the LeadBoston class of 2011.
