Lory leads TPW’s Americas East portfolio and partners with philanthropists and social investors to establish clear social impact goals, create a strategic roadmap for community engagement and educational programs, and curate expert connections and resources. Prior to this, she worked closely with the Global Philanthropists Circle at Synergos, and was the project manager of Bridging Leadership initiatives in China, Egypt, India, Namibia, Nigeria, Mexico, Philippines, South Africa, and United States of America.
Lory graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in Economics and received her M.S. in Global Affairs from New York University with a focus on international business and development. Her graduate thesis, Strategic Management in Impact Investing: Effectiveness of Achieving Financial and Social Returns in Africa’s Smallholder Agriculture Production, won the best thesis award among 278 students in the program.
Lory is committed to working together with local communities to drive sustainable impact. She currently serves as an Advisor to the President of the Ethiopian Red Cross Society, and is a Next Generation member of UNICEF USA and NEXUS Global. Lory grew up in Manila and has lived in Madrid, Paris, San Francisco, Boston, and Plano. She is now based in New York where she is an avid fan of the New York City Ballet and enjoys mentoring her BUILD students at the High School of World Cultures.
