Laura Fink, CFRE is Director of Development and Professional Advisor Relations at Akron Community Foundation. Laura joined the staff in October of 2011. As director of development, Laura meets with current and potential fundholders to discover their philanthropic passions while providing comprehensive charitable planning solutions. She also leads the professional advisory council made up of wealth advisors, trust officers, attorneys and accountants to increase the exposure of ACF and create giving opportunities that are simple and accessible to their clients.

Laura’s favorite thing about Akron Community Foundation is the people she meets – learning where they came from, what motivates them, and the positive impact giving has made on their lives. Laura loves being the conduit between financial resources and needs in the community.
Laura’s entire professional career has been in development – for both corporate and nonprofit organizations. She is an avid hiker and cyclist whose hobbies include cooking and reading. She’s a 1987 graduate of the College of Wooster and lives in Akron with her family.
