Julita Eleveld is a senior program officer on the Philanthropic Partnerships Team (PPT) at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Building on the five years she spent leading learning and engagement opportunities for members of the Giving Pledge community, Julita Eleveld leads PPT’s efforts to share foundation knowledge and launches and expands new learning and engagement initiatives that encourage more informed and intentional giving. Serving as the liaison between PPT partners and the foundation’s program-related investment and U.S. education teams, she also leads PPT’s strategy on impact investing and education funding. She also oversees the team’s strategic monitoring, learning, evaluation efforts.
Prior to joining the foundation, she managed the University of Washington’s Nancy Bell Evans Center on Nonprofits & Philanthropy, was a founding staff member of the Seattle Girls School, and worked in a variety of business development and product and brand management roles at packaged goods and consumer-focused internet companies, and in corporate finance investment banking. She holds a BA from U.C Berkeley and an MBA from Stanford University and was a Fulbright Scholar at the National University of Singapore.
She is an avid tennis player and enjoys cooking, traveling, spending time with her family, and serving on the Lakeside School Parent Association board.
