Jeff serves as a trusted philanthropic advisor for The Columbus Foundation, the country’s 8th largest community foundation with over $2.3B in assets. He is focused on enhancing community philanthropy by serving individual and family donors, nonprofits, and current professional advisors. He serves the client’s charitable interests by helping to organize, plan, and implement charitable giving strategies to meet the client’s philanthropic goals. He works with individuals, corporations, and nonprofit organizations and their professional advisors (financial planner, attorney, and accountant) to develop and implement donor gift and grantmaking strategies to nonprofit charities.
Jeff also holds the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) designation from the American College of Financial Services. He previously served as Director of Development at the Wexner Center for the Arts for more than a decade, and Senior Director at The Ohio State University. He is a graduate of the Jefferson Center Academy for Nonprofit Leadership and Governance. He has worked for more than 20 years in the nonprofit and higher education sectors.
Jeff received a Master’s Degree from DePaul University, Chicago, and his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois-Urbana/Champaign.
