Janice Loomer Margolis is a Philanthropy Advisor with thirty years in the charities field in Canada. She has held leadership positions with community foundations, environmental, health care and educational charities and has worked with hundreds of donors and donor families to carry out their charitable interests. As well, she has practiced law in the areas of corporate law for charities, tax-planned charitable giving and wills and estates.
Janice is a skilled facilitator and mentor with a unique ability to work with individuals, couples and families to help them articulate their values, motivations, interests and desired impacts and transform them into practical, fulfilling and measurable giving plans.
She is a leader in the philanthropic sector in Canada having served as Chair of the National Board of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP), President of the Vancouver Estate Planning Council and member of the Imagine Canada Advisory Council, and was honoured as a ‘Friend of CAGP’.
