Dr. Gretchen Krueger is senior vice president and senior historian for Wells Fargo Bank. As a member of the Family & Business History Center, Gretchen helps families of wealth discover, share, and preserve their family history for the benefit of future generations. She enjoys speaking to women about the importance of telling their own life stories and building a legacy that expresses their core values. In addition, she works with families to tell their children and grandchildren about their history, a key component in the education and preparation of heirs.
Gretchen earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Truman State University and her Master of Arts and Ph.D. in the History of Medicine and Science at Yale University. To complete her training, she served as a postdoctoral fellow at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a historical consultant for the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). She has been with Wells Fargo since 2006.
