Gail Mandel is the Legacy Development and Marketing Manager for the Oregon Jewish Community Foundation. Her primary responsibilities at the foundation include working with prospective donors to help them fulfill their philanthropic goals with both current and legacy giving and managing the LIFE & LEGACY initiative, which OJCF is spearheading in Oregon in partnership with the Harold Grinspoon Foundation. In addition, Gail manages the foundation’s marketing program and oversees the programming for OJCF’s Professional Advisors Group. Prior to her association with the foundation, Gail’s employment history includes working for Abrams Books, the world-renowned art and illustrated book publisher, in both the editorial and production departments and for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the development office. Gail serves on the boards of the Mittleman Jewish Community Center and Portland Jewish Academy. She holds a M.A. in Art History and Museum Studies from City College, City University of New York and a B.S. in Journalism from Boston University.
