Aqeela Jogee serves as a Senior Philanthropy Advisor for The Family Office of Philanthropy at the Marin Community Foundation. In this role, Aqeela provides strategic philanthropy advice to a portfolio of high-net-worth donors and their families.
Aqeela Jogee has over a decade of experience driving meaningful impact in the social sector through community development, education empowerment, cross-cultural exchanges, and international development. Prior to joining MCF, Aqeela connected donors with local nonprofits in Asia, the Middle East, and West Africa with Give2Asia and the U.S. Department of State via iEARN. She is passionate about creating positive social change, and strongly believes that collective action can solve the world’s most challenging problems.
Aqeela earned her Bachelor’s degree from Bradley University, her Master’s degree in social and economic development from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis, and is pursuing a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy certification from The American College. When Aqeela is not exploring hikes and beaches in the Bay Area, she is trying new recipes and planning her next international trip with her family.
