Aaron helps individuals and families to define and achieve their charitable objectives as part of their overall wealth plans. This may include gift and tax planning, multi-generational planning, estate planning, and the creation and management of donor advised funds, private foundations, charitable trusts, and other charitable planning strategies. He also works extensively with nonprofit organizations, where he advises in the areas of gift planning, endowment management, board governance, and other management issues. Aaron collaborates with his clients and their other advisors to leverage their resources to maximize the impact of their philanthropic activities.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Aaron was the Director of Development of the University of Richmond where we managed the major gift and gift planning programs. Aaron has held a number of leadership positions in higher education fundraising, organizational development consulting, and private equity.
Aaron holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Virginia Tech and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Richmond. He is a Past President of the Virginia Gift Planning Council, and has served on a variety of community and non-profits boards including the Regirer Foundation, the Richmond Symphony Orchestra, Richmond Montessori School, the Virginia Tech Alumni Association, and Virginia21. His professional memberships include the Virginia Gift Planning Council and the Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE).
