I have over two decades of global experience transforming organizations, leading teams, and advising social change leaders in the philanthropic, corporate, nonprofit, and public sectors. I advise individuals, families, and foundations on their giving strategy and philanthropic journey. I cover a wide range of issues from vision/mission and values to giving strategy and operations to board dynamics.
I previously served as Managing Director at Humanity United for six years (part of The Omidyar Group) where I oversaw all philanthropic activities against forced labor and human trafficking.
While at FSG, The Bridgespan Group, and McKinsey’s social sector and public sector practices, I designed and executed strategies for a wide range of organizations, including national and international nonprofits; family, community, and corporate foundations; government entities; and corporate social responsibility programs. I have helped multiple organizations advance their learning and impact, particularly around diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice. As the son of two refugees from the Middle East and North Africa, this work has both professional and personal resonance for me.
