With a wealth of experience spanning since 2013, Nithin has been instrumental in guiding multiple individuals and multi-generational families as a trusted philanthropic advisor. His diverse background includes also stepping into roles, serving as a director for various family foundations, enabling him to provide comprehensive support to his clients.
Nithin’s expertise lies in facilitating wealth transitions between generations, cultivating strategies to engage the next generation, and promoting equitable grant-making practices. He is committed to reimagining philanthropy and introducing innovative approaches that foster greater equity and inclusivity in the sector.
Nithin’s visionary mindset and deep understanding of social impact enable him to design models and systems that drive lasting transformations. His holistic approach ensures that philanthropic efforts not only make an immediate difference but also create long-term, sustainable impact.
Nithin also serves as the Executive Director of Dreams for Schools (DFS), an EdTech organization he founded that advances education equity by bridging gaps in STEAM education, with an emphasis on computer science, by working with a range of community stakeholders through programs that would not otherwise be available to students regionally. He is also the Co-Founder of Excelsior Creative – a creative software development agency based in Orange County. He’s been involved in the non-profit and funder communities, locally, regionally and nationally. In the community, Nithin serves on several Non-Profit and Advisory Boards of organizations which include Orange County Grantmakers, Asian American Futures, Harbor Day School, Donna Ford Attallah College of Educational Studies at Chapman University, and UC Irvine Alumni Association.
He’s a lover of comedy, a closet chef, cherish being outdoors, spending time with friends, building and creating things. He co-authored a Children’s Book, R is for Rice, a rhyming alphabet book on Asian American Food with the goal to inspire current and future generations of Asian Americans to feel pride in their identity.
