As the Vice President for Institutional Advancement & Planning at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, Hermione is committed to working with donors, nonprofit partners, and community leaders to further the organization’s mission. Prior to joining Selby Gardens, she served as a Philanthropic Advisor for Gulf Coast Community Foundation where she worked with the region’s philanthropists and nonprofit organizations supporting strong community investment in Sarasota county and the surrounding region. Hermione began her philanthropy career in the performing arts holding positions at Asolo Repertory Theatre, where she strengthened the theatre’s endowment and annual fundraising efforts, and La Jolla Playhouse in San Diego, where she deepened community relationships and managed the campaign feasibility study. She has a Bachelor’s from Rice University in Houston where she studied Visual and Dramatic Arts with an emphasis in theatre arts. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Southwest FL Chapter, Southwest Florida Estate Planning Council and a graduate of the Gulf Coast Leadership Institute, Class of 2015.
