Elizabeth (she/her) employs a trust-based approach in her work with philanthropists and community organizations to create profound and lasting impact. She especially enjoys connecting philanthropists with essential community organizations that meet the daily needs of our resilient neighbors.

Elizabeth brings over ten years of experience in the nonprofit and philanthropy sectors, uplifting youth voices by supporting post-secondary access to education, child welfare policy, skilled trades education, and sustainable agriculture. Prior to joining Third Plateau, she served as a Program Assistant for the Smidt Foundation, a Senior Program Associate at the Larta Institute, and the Southern Regional Coordinator for California Youth Connection.

Elizabeth is a proud Bay Area native and second-generation Cambodian American. She is part of the first generation of her family to attend college, completing her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and earning an advanced degree in Social Welfare from the University of California, Los Angeles. For self-care, you will often find her walking on the Iron Horse trail with a mug of green tea and listening to NPR on her headphones. She also values spending time in the East Bay and Outer Sunset with loved ones, gathered over a delicious spread of Khmer cuisine.
