Blair is a philanthropic consultant with 20+ years of experience working for purpose-driven organizations. As Founder and Principal of BLD Impact, she collaborates with philanthropists and social change leaders to clarify vision, sharpen goals, and amplify the impact of their work. Throughout her career, Blair has held positions ranging from Executive Director of national and global nonprofit organizations, to Director of Grant-making for various charitable entities. In addition, Blair has served on numerous nonprofit boards including: The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, The Music Hall of Portsmouth, the Clipper Foundation, and The Morse Hill Trust. Her passion lies in harnessing generosity (in all its forms) to change the world.
Blair graduated from Princeton University with a BA in History with Honors. She earned a graduate degree in Nonprofit Management from Johns Hopkins University and an Executive MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business LEAD Program. Blair is also a 21/64 Certified Advisor.
Residing in Portsmouth, NH, with her husband and three teenaged daughters, Blair loves to travel, play pickle ball, and procrastinate with the New York Times word games. Her colleagues and clients would describe her as a wise, strategic thinker and a fierce advocate for bridging the opportunity gap for underserved communities in the US and around the world. Everyone in her family (with the notable exception of the dog) would describe her as a pretty bad cook — they all enjoy Portsmouth’s vibrant restaurant community!
