Since I can remember, I’ve been an inquisitive and resourceful problem-solver. With experience working in non-profit and financial tech sectors, I pride myself on building trust and fostering collaboration among my partners and clients. I thrive when prioritizing and managing multiple demands and feel enriched when I’m able to listen and understand people’s stories and identify opportunities that will help meet their goals.
I currently serve as Senior Manager of Next Gen Engagement at the Greater Houston Community Foundation. In this role, I engage and advise next gen donors through a suite of programs, one of the most comprehensive, intensive, and respected in the country. In these trainings and learnings, next gen donors deepen their skills around impactful philanthropy and community engagement and leadership.
I started my career in the international development space, leading day-to-day project management and outreach to corporate funders, nonprofit partner organizations, multilateral institutions, and program beneficiaries for a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit organization. My work was focused on engaging new partners and directing resources to help international female business leaders and human rights activists scale their social impact.
Having seen how mission-driven solutions among various stakeholders can achieve great impact, I decided to switch gears and join a financial tech start-up dedicated to helping organizations access energy efficient technology without any upfront investment or capital. During my time at Sparkfund, I developed and led our Subscriber Services division, using teamwork and resourcefulness so that organizations of all kinds could reduce their energy costs and use those resources on their core functions.
In my free time, you can find me chasing my toddler and baby, cooking, traveling, snuggling my rescue Beagle, and exploring all that Houston has to offer.
