This week, I participated in 21/64’s Talking About Money Training to challenge one of the oldest taboos – money. The team and facilitators are excellent, creative, and very engaging! Thank you to 21/64 for giving me a framework to look at how my own money story informs/inhibits money conversations with my family and clients, and practice facilitating tools to add value to my conversations around wealth, legacy, and philanthropic planning. It was wonderful and fun to learn alongside a diverse set of peers in the field. We even had an awesome guy from Budapest in our group!

I highly recommend this training, even if you are quite experienced in family meeting facilitation and client management. In addition to providing outstanding content, the training works on almost a meta level — not only are you covering the toolkits and techniques for facilitating family meetings in detail, but in addition you are able to observe skilled facilitators demonstrate these techniques in action as they work with the group. You are able to reflect about yourself and about the approach you bring to client work as you use the tools, and you are also able to learn from and share best practices with the highly experienced group of peers who attend the training alongside you. A highly valuable use of time!

The skill sets learned with these highly organized classes are certainly applicable to a wide variety of family wealth planning topics. Attendees come from different professional backgrounds and this environment serves as an unique opportunity to collaboratively educate oneself in a multi-disciplinary platform.

This training exceeded my expectations and really took my learning from the 101 Training deeper and resonated with where I am professionally.

The training was such a life-changing and surprising gift. I am really excited about this idea of bringing my own experiences to bear on a consultancy that would combine philanthropy, family dynamics and youth development.

The size of the group created a safe space to have candid discussions and practice skills in a non-threatening environment. It was a content-rich experience with tangible takeaways.
